How it works

Four steps, one afternoon, no consultant四個步驟

The whole flow from blank page to a shortlist you can act on — nothing here needs a kick-off call.

  1. Write the ad撰寫職位

Start from a template for the role, or paste your existing spec. The monthly salary band and the language level are required fields — you physically cannot publish a listing that leaves a candidate guessing.

    ≈ 4 minutes

  2. Add screening questions設定篩選問題

Up to five knock-out questions: right to work, notice period, written Chinese level, licence held. Answers sit on the candidate card, so you stop opening CVs to find out.

    5 questions max

  3. Publish and reach發布及推廣

Live immediately, indexed by district and MTR line, and pushed to every matching job alert at 8am HKT the next morning. Promote it to the top of results whenever you need volume.

    Live the same day

  4. Move people through跟進候選人

Drag from Applied to Offer on a board your whole hiring team can see. Every reply is logged, and your response rate is published on your company page — which is why candidates trust it.

What you get

The six things that actually fill a vacancy招聘所需,一站齊備

Not a feature matrix designed to push you upwards. Which tier you need depends on how many roles you run at once — the tools themselves are the same shape on all of them.

Salary-transparency boost薪酬透明加成

Publish a real monthly band and HKjobs surfaces the listing higher in search, in alerts and on district pages. Candidates self-select before they apply.

3.2× more applicants per listing

Screening questions篩選問題

Knock-out and scored questions on right to work, notice period and language level. Anyone who fails a knock-out is filtered into a separate tab rather than your inbox.

The pipeline

You can see the drop-off, so you can fix it睇得到流失,先改得到

Every stage is measured on your dashboard: how many people saw the ad, how many applied, and where the good ones quietly disappeared.

  • Screening questions filter before you read, not after
  • Stage history shows how long someone waited on you
  • Response rate is published — candidates hire you back
  • Compare your funnel against the median for the same role

Modelled on one HK$45,000/month hire — the kind of role most Hong Kong teams are filling right now.

HKjobs compared with a recruitment agency and a generic job board, across cost per hire, time to first applicant, salary transparency, pipeline tooling and placement fee.

From hiring teams

Employers who stopped paying to be introduced

We hired twenty-two engineers into Quarry Bay in a year and eighteen of them came through here. What actually moved the needle was publishing the salary band. Applications dropped by a third and the shortlist got twice as good.
Vivian Ho Yee-lamHead of Talent · CloudPeak
Regulated hiring is slow by nature, so the screening questions earn their keep. Licence status and notice period are answered before anyone reaches my desk, and our time-to-offer for front-office roles fell from nine weeks to five.
Gregory Lam Kin-wahManaging Director, Human Capital · Lantern Bay Capital
Peak season means forty warehouse and driver roles across Kwai Chung and Tuen Mun in six weeks. One pipeline board, three coordinators working it, and we filled thirty-seven before Golden Week. The agency invoice we did not pay was the real saving.

Questions

The six we get asked every week常見問題

Still stuck on something? The answer is usually a two-line email away.

Talk to the team
Do you take a placement fee when we hire someone?
No. You pay for the listing or the subscription and nothing else. There is no fee on hire, no rebate clause and no percentage of first-year salary. A team that hires four people from one 30-day listing pays exactly the same as a team that hires none.
Do we have to publish the salary?
Yes — a monthly HKD band is a required field, and it is the single biggest reason HKjobs listings out-perform. You can still add a note such as “+ 13th month, discretionary bonus”, and you can set a wide band if the level is genuinely open. What you cannot do is publish nothing and hope. Check the live median for the role first.
How long does a listing stay live?
Thirty days from publication, and you can edit it at any point without restarting the clock. Renew it in one click, or move to a subscription plan if you are running more than two or three roles at a time. Closed listings stay in your dashboard with their full applicant history.
Can our whole hiring team see the applicants?
Yes. Applications land on a shared board rather than in one person's inbox, and subscription plans add seats for hiring managers, interviewers and finance. Permissions decide who can move a candidate to Offer and who can only leave notes — the seat count for each tier is set out in the pricing table.
What does verification involve?
We check the Business Registration number against the company name and confirm one contact at the registered address before the verified mark appears on your listings and your company page. It usually takes one working day, it is free, and verified employers receive measurably more applications.
We hire in Cantonese-first roles. Does the platform handle that?
It is built for it. Every listing carries a Traditional Chinese title alongside the English one, language requirements are split into spoken and written level, and candidates filter on both. District and MTR interchange are structured fields, so a Tuen Mun shift role is not competing against Central for the same audience.
