Nine Dragons Metals buys, blends and resells copper, aluminium and nickel scrap into smelters and foundries across the Pearl River Delta. Founded in Kwun Tong in 1991 by a former foundry engineer, the company built its reputation on grading accuracy — customers pay a premium because the analysis certificate matches what is in the container.
The Hong Kong office handles trading, hedging and finance while yards in Dongguan and Zhaoqing handle the physical processing. It is a hedged book: every physical position gets an LME leg, and the risk team has a real veto.
